Fellowship Opportunities
Dr Samintharaj Kumar (SK) operates a high-volume, dental private practice spanning multiple locations and regions. A highly regarded General Dental Surgeon, he is widely recognised for his extensive academic and clinical training. His achievements include numerous awards and certifications, as highlighted here.
Dr Kumar is both the previous Director of MALO Dental and currently Director for ZAGA Centre. These accolades are with relation to the complex implant surgery undertaken by himself on a regular basis.
Two types of Clinical Fellowships exist with Dr Samintharaj Kumar - a 6 month and a 12 month full time Fellowship. No part time fellowships are allowed. The nature of the fellowships are principally intensive in surgical dentistry, implant dentistry, complex restorative dentistry and healthcare management.
Dr Kumar completed his dental undergraduate training at the National University of Singapore and his medical undergraduate years were spent at Royal Free & University College London Medical School. Apart from Dental and Surgical Fellowships with the Royal Colleges of Ireland and London, he holds an MBA from Bayes Business School (previously known as Sir John Cass Business School, England).
The SK fellows will be able to scrub into surgeries and learn all techniques utilised by SK and many more, with the gradual ability for deepening surgical understanding early in the fellowship.

The SK fellows will also be additionally exposed to matters that affect dental surgeons today including business and practice management, including decision making, negotiating contracts, understanding marketing in a competitive environment, and social digital marketing in healthcare surgeons. As a company we are also actively involved in community activities and charity fundraising.
Fellows will have the opportunity to attend the in-house monthly Clinicians Journal Club. The Fellow is also required to participate and present clinical research via presentation at a major conference.
We have one fellowship position open at any one point. A stipend/ salary and other benefits are provided. A 5 year company bond is applicable to the Fellow after successful completion in their country of origin.
